A community of artists and scholars
Brandeis is one of New England’s premier arts centers, featuring live music and theater year-round, one of the nation’s foremost collections of modern art at the Rose Art Museum and our annual Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts, as well as degree programs in the creative arts.

Brandeis offers majors and minors in music, theater arts, fine arts, as well as in Creativity, the Arts, and Social Transformation. You can find our arts alumni on Broadway, in Hollywood, leading museums and performing in concert halls worldwide.

Greater Boston arts
Brandeis is just nine miles from Boston, one of the nation’s best cities to hear music, see theater, and explore museums. Be sure to visit the Museum of Fine Arts (undergraduates get free admission with Brandeis ID), the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston Ballet, and the American Repertory Theatre.
